In less then 24 hours we managed to get the dominion required to get a hamlet, despite performance issues, crashes and not being able to get everyone in game. Good job so far guys, lets keep it up! Things are looking good for us!

Darkfall Patch April 5th, New Wobble System!

Darkfall today released a new patch introducing the new wobble system. You can also gain 50k prowess by selling 10 wood to a vendor to help test the rest of beta with a maxed character! See you in game!

A new god has joined the Pantheon in SMITE, Aphrodite, Goddess of Beauty. Aphrodite wields a golden scepter and is a mage of great power. Aphrodite can take another god as her soul mate giving awesome buffs. Check out the video to find out more about how she works in SMITE.

SMITE: $10,000 Invitational 5v5 Tournament Announced for PAX East

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that it will be holding a tournament during PAX East later this month. The tournament will feature 5v5 game play with the ultimate purse of $10,000. Seven teams are confirmed for the tournament with the eighth to be determined in a wildcard playoff on March 10th.

Darkfall Unholy Wars to introduce salvaging and prowess skill/stat gains.

So unlike the old DFO, skills and stats will be levelable via prowess and/instead using them

as announced by Tasos

Next week we’re going to patch in, among other things, Salvaging and the new Character Progression System based on prowess points. Both of these upgrades to the game may have been on our mind but they were also suggested by the community and your feedback was very helpful both on deciding to implement them as well as how they work. As a result of the new progression system going in, it’s necessary to perform a wipe.

The Primalist will go into the game in a second patch, a few days later.

As you can understand there is a lot of work and testing going on internally since these are massive changes and additions to the game. We’ll have details for you about how these systems work within the next few days.
